Team Scoot a Doot – out in full force and ready to Jog ‘n Hog!
Kimberly and Kyle drove all the way from the DC area to jog and hog with us!
Seen on our run through Shady Brook Farm.
Nom nom!
Team Scoot a Doot found a corner and started to chow down.
Megan
Brandi with her littlest helper.
Jena digs in.
Chick Vic and Kyle.
Aaron and Jen
Kimberly
Chocolate sauce did NOT want to open!
Kate finished… and she doesn’t even LIKE ice cream.
Christina gets it done.
Linda, our Jog ‘n Hog giveaway winner. Double fisting takes on a whole new meaning.
Then there was this guy, the Pace Pig. To add to the fun of the Jog ‘n Hog there, you either beat the pig or the pig beat you! Our team was half and half, if anyone’s keeping track.

So much fun was had and naturally, since we’re planners, we’re already talking about Team Scoot a Doot’s triumphant return in 2014. Who’s in?
So glad that you and Kimberly were able to join us this year. It was great meeting you and so much fun! I love a race that is organized yet laid-back. I felt like everyone there was a friend… and not just because we brought our friends there. 😉
I didn’t even finish my pint this year… but maybe I’ll join you next year. I might have to train more! And when I say “train” I mean eat more ice cream.
There was a shirt that they were selling that said “Weak Knees, Brain Freeze”. The ice cream was a little bit melty by the time that we got there so it wasn’t TOO cold. AND IT WAS DELICIOUS.
I love pigging out after races but this was the first time I’d done it DURING a race. And I have to say, probably not the last. 😉 I do have great plans for after Wine and Dine.
Looks like an amazing time was had by all! This is the best concept for a run! But maybe instead of a Pace Pig, they should have a pace ice cream truck. JS!
Also, I need a Scoot-a-Doot shirt. I NEED ONE, CHICKS! Please to tell me where I can buy one!?

I’m in! Jog N’ Hog 2014 is a must! I foresee more elaborate costuming in our future.
I had SUCH a good time! What a blast it was hanging out, and hogging with you fabulous people. Just wonderful!

Basically, this whole thing was just the beginning of a beautiful friendship. A friendship fueled by running. And ice cream.
I think I am gonna aim for the WHOLE HOG next year! hahaha!

I do love ice cream. a lot. We shall train together.
I’m in for Whole Hogging, too. The training program especially.
I knew I could count on Kyle to join us as whole hoggers!!
Of course you could. OF COURSE.
I am TOTALLY in for next year. And, agreed…more elaborate costuming will be in order! Oink!
Hooray!
OINK!
looks like a total blast!!!!! i would be afraid id get brain freeze….. my worst enemy…… !

That looked like so much fun! Pigging out is something we love to do after races!

So awesome!! If I have money and a weekend to spare, I’m so in 🙂
I vote yes!!!
Two things, 1) who doesn’t like ice cream? 2) I wish I had an awesome job title like Pace Pig!!
Ha! I guess that given the choice, Kate would go for the fruit cup over the ice cream. We’ve had discussions (at great length) about this.
Pace Pig took his job very seriously. After he finished, he stood at the line saying, “I beat you. I beat YOU. Oh, and I beat you!”

BWAHAHA! Love the idea of a truck. I’d run after that, for sure.
And as for the shirts… stay tuned. Especially on FB. 😉
