I make piles and lists. Lots of lists. And as you know, I also collect some goodies in baskets.
A few weeks back, I shared some photos of a few of my favorite medals. Then, many of you were kind enough to share some photos of YOUR special medals.
Last month, I received an beautiful medal rack from Marcey at Sport Hooks. The five-hook rack is stunning, and made of a heavy medal, so I am absolutely loving how durable it is.

That’s right! I found our drill and used it for the first time – all by myself – to install the rack. It literally took about a minute. Easy peasy! The lengthy process for me was deciding where it would go. Once up, I decided to display some of my fave medals — the rest remain in ye ‘ole medal basket.
Part of what I love so much about this rack is the woman behind the design. Marcey is a runner like you and me — though she’s a marathon maniac, having run 86 marathons since 2000. Now that’s an incredible accomplishment! Let’s give Marcey a huge hand!
As she collected bling in the past decade, Marcey said she realized she needed a medal display that was both functional and stylish. Thus, Sport Hooks was born!

Currently my medals are just hung from nails on the wall in our workout room. Not very creative. For 9 years we’ve been collecting medals between the two of us. I have GOT to find a better way to display them.

Right now mine hang on the intercom speaker in my room. It makes the speaker look more pretty! 😉

My medals are hanging on one of those plastic Command Hooks. You know I have to keep it classy here at the Nuthouse.
I think if I win, I will hang it in my kitchen or beside my front door, so that EVERYONE will see them, not just me.
If I don’t win, I may just start accessorizing with them on a daily basis. 🙂

I don’t have any medals yet! I’ve only done 5k’s so far, but I’m signed up for a Disney race in February and having a place to hang it would be good motivation!
oooh, Which Disney race are you going to be running? the 10K or the half? (or both?) Disney knows how to make a stunning medal, so you will have a great first one!
I’m doing the 10k! Maybe the following year I’ll work my way up to the half 🙂 I can’t wait to see what the medal looks like!

I am displaying my whopping ONE race medal by laying it in my kitchen table. I’ll find a place eventually, I’m sure!

I never thought of using a clothing hanger. Very creative! But yes, I’d agree you need to display those bad boys with a bit more flair!
I haven’t gotten any medals yet; my first one will come in about three weeks at the Rochester Half Marathon. If I win a rack, my medals will definitely go there.

I currently have them hanging on a medal rack but my son’s medals are on a door handle. He needs this medal rack! He’s 9.
Oh yes! He totally needs a medal rack — and Sport Hooks has them for all sorts of sports such as soccer, baseball, basketball, even martial arts! What’s his sport(s)?
Lol! Right now mine are hanging on one of those expandable, accordion style coat racks right now! It was all I could find to do in a pinch until I buy (or win!) something new!

Right now all of my medals are hung on the sides of my mirror in bedroom. I’ve been looking for a medal rack but just haven’t quite found that perfect one that is just “me”.

I have a small medal hanger but since we are looking to buy a house, hubby won’t let me install it yet. But I need another one since I’ve gotten so many more medals this year! (and they’re all hanging around one trophy that’s about to tip over!)

No, but I’m running my first one in a few weeks and have signed up for two more. I’m a new runner and a musician so I think it will be my “signature” series 🙂
