Rock n Roll Marathon Series Global Tour Pass Giveaway!

So you may have read last week that I’ve got a busy year ahead.

And since running is currently a no go, I wasn’t able to use my Rock-n-Roll Marathon Series Global Tour Pass for 2016, an awesome perk that comes along with being a race series and brand ambassador.

I was hoping to at least run #RnRDC in March, but my body stopped cooperating early in the first trimester. My other “must-run” RnR races for the year in September and October (Philly and Brooklyn) don’t seem incredibly feasible, as I will then have a newborn on my hands.

So instead of fretting about the timing, I decided to share my pass with one lucky reader and postpone my race plans until 2017.

Up for grabs is a 2016 Global Tour Pass worth $479. It gives you entry to any and all RnR races in 2016.

This giveaway will begin Monday, May 23 and will last one week, ending at midnight on Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day.) There’s only one pass up for grabs and only one winner. I received this pass (a $479 value) through my role as a #RocknBlog ambassador. While I love this series, all opinions on my experiences are my own. Winner must be a US, Canadian or European resident. Current #RocknBloggers are no eligible to win the pass. Cheating to enter this giveaway will disqualify entrant. Required entries are a must to be considered for prize.

And HEY! Since I know you all love a deal, use my discount code “ScootaDoot” to save some cash on an upcoming Rock n Roll Marathon race. Save $15 on entry of the marathon and half-marathon distance at 2016 RnR events.

  1. Hard not to think that Las Vegas would be #1 on my wish list, but it’d be fun to try several RnR races. Thanks for hosting!

  2. This would be so fun! I’d love to make an adventure of it and do RnR Vancouver. Or Vegas! Or Brooklyn! Have race plans, will travel. 😉 Excited for you and your busy year ahead, Victoria!

    • Thank you Cathy! It’s a big one for sure 🙂 You’ve got some awesome potential plans for the pass! Best of luck with the contest!

  3. could we check if it’s available to non US citizens? it is a GLOBAL pass and there are plenty of people in my contacts who would love to participate in your giveaway.

  4. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go to Vegas! I just took it off my list because I’ve been spending too much money on race registrations, but I would gladly put it back on my list if I won this pass! While I’m at it, if I had this pass I’d do Virginia Beach too….and who knows which other ones. ROAD TRIP! lol

  5. After spending the last 10 months “adulting” ie – not registering for all the races I want to, this would be an awesome treat!!
I’d go back and do Vegas, maybe San Antonio, Dallas, Chicago….#AlltheRnR

  6. After falling down 20 times in my first half marathon in 2014, I said never again! so in 2015 I completed 10 half marathons around the country and ending in one Marathon in January. Now it’s 2016 and I haven’t signed up for one race yet, I would love to win the tour pass and do an international race. I’m excited!

    • Wow Ted. What a story! Congratulations on persevering and such an incredible feat! A tour pass would be the cherry on the sundae! Good luck

  7. Bummer that you can’t run, but wow, what a great idea!

There are a few I’d do, probably RnR Las Vegas again, it’s one of my favorites, and I wouldn’t mind doing Philly.

  8. I would love to try Vegas again as the weather last year wasn’t too cooperative, Nashville is one of my favorites, NOLA has been on my list, and I’m super close to Chicago and St. Louis so I’d do those too. I love traveling and races are the perfect excuse and a great way to see the city you run in. This pass would open up some awesome opportunities for me to check out some new places.

    • Both countries have beautiful scenery! I’ve never done any sort of race in either, but loved exploring both countries.

  9. I did Nola, Dallas, Nashville and doing Savannah and San Antonio. Want to do Virginia Beach, but I ran out of money…Would love to do St Louis too–go heavy medals!!

  10. Las Vegas is definitely on the bucket list! Kinda sad Nashville won’t count because that one is on the list too. I would love to knock off a bunch of states with this one!

  11. Seattle, San Diego and Vegas are all on my bucket list! Of course I would love to do them all! I am limited on race funds so this would help me be able to run more races and save money.

  12. Would love to run this in DC or Vegas. Love the series and I haven’t been able to sign up for many this year. Life has changed for me in a lot of ways but I know in the long run for the better. Running is my therapy and my heart.

  13. Congrats on your pregnancy! I just had a baby in March 🙂 Being a mom is the best!

I am itching to get back to racing! I’m running Philly and I’d love to do Brooklyn, DC, and New Orleans!

    • Thank you MaryBeth. And congrats on your little bundle of joy! I may have to ask you for advice in the months ahead. Was the adjustment back to running a hard one?

      • Thank you! 🙂

The first few minutes of every run feel a little rough. My runs have been about 1-2 min/mile slower. I’ve been surprisingly fine with that (I know that I have baby weight to lose and that I havent run my normal pace since last fall so I think reminding myself of that has helped!). I’ve felt so great after runs and it’s a nice way to get me out of the house for a bit! I’ve been back to running for about 3 weeks and have been getting out about 3 times a week, about 1-4 miles for each run.

I stayed active the entire pregnancy which really helped getting back to it and I believe was helpful for delivery and recovery! Feel free to email me if you have any questions! (FYI I’m currently a Philly girl, but Rochester born and raised ;))

        • Huzzah for Rochester! We are everywhere! Funny thing is that I grew up not far from Philly! Small world, right?

I’m definitely going to be slower post-baby and am also ok with that. I just want to get out and running again! Do we follow each other on Twitter? Please shoot me a note there so I am sure I am following back!

          • Such a small world!

I’m on Twitter, but more of an observer. I’m more active on Instagram. I’ll send you a note on both!

  14. RNR Vegas was my very first half marathon back in 2011. It would be pretty sweet to run the event five years later and try for a PR!

  15. I want to run Las Vegas and St. Louis so bad!! Bucket list races! I’ve run Nashville before and it was a blast! I’m ready for a repeat!

    • Thank you Jennifer! We are very excited. 🙂 This bad boy would definitely give you a great head start on some great RnR bling!

    • Of course! I knew you’d pick Va Beach, because Va Beach!! Thanks for all your support and kind words and again congrats on London!!

  16. I’m currently signed up for RnR San Diego and Chicago. Been eyeing Vancouver, and of course would love Vegas!

  17. I would love to win this so I could run in the San Diego RnR for sure since it’s my hometown. My wife just had our second child and i’m now starting to get back out for some runs. Money is tight so i’m hoping I win for that reason.

    • Congrats on baby, Justin and hopefully this will be a great little gift to go along with that bundle of joy!

  18. I’m sorry your out. Very kind of you to raffle away. Wishing you a fast recovery

I’ve never done a RnR race so starting in Chicago sounds good to me

    • Thanks Andrea. I hope to make a speedy (pun intended) return to running once baby arrives. And yes, I’ve heard great things about RnR Chicago! Good luck!

  19. This is so amazing! I would love to rock Philly again, as it is my hometown..Any race on the east coast would be fantastic.

  20. For me, running is about staying inspired and inspiring others; living life. To be able to travel with it, and see other places, only reminds me of just how big life is.

  21. Just getting out of college I have other expenses that have to come first (#adultingsucks) but there are so many Rock ‘n’ Roll races to run that I’d love to be a part of. Chicago (my birthday!!), Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Phoenix are the ones I’d LOVE to go run this year. I have so many friends from the #TeamSparkle family and #WeRunSocial crew going that I’d love to be there too! I’m also chasing the elusive sub-2 (currently sitting at 2:01) and I KNOW I can get there this year. What better place to PR than at a Rock ‘n’ Roll race?!

  22. Sorry to hear about this but I’d love the pass! I ran the Rock and Roll in DC twice and really want to run brooklyn!

  23. I REALLY want to run RnR Seattle and of course LasVegas! If I won I would use the races as an excuse to go on some epic road trips!

  24. Congratulations on the soon to be little one! I am running a few RnR races this year, including my first full in SD next week, but I would always love to add more to my calendar!

  25. Oh – oops – I would like to win it because I work in a school and therefore am not making millions to do all the RNR races I would like to do. I’d love to run any races in CA and even the Las Vegas one would be fun.

  26. I would LOVE to win this because Rock n Roll races are just the greatest! I would love to be able to cross some of my all time bucket list races off like Las Vegas!

  27. Looks like I literally just missed this contest – still – how cool! I’ve heard great things about these races!

    One day…… 🙂
