PRO Compression Giveaway and Coupon Code

Hey Scooters! We’ve got another fabulous opportunity for you. We have partnered with the fine folks at PRO Compression for a giveaway!

The California-based company makes socks for endurance athletes, to be used before, during or after exercise such as running or golf.  The idea is for enhanced blood flow in your lower extremities.

What’s all that fancy talk?

Here’s the skinny: The socks make your legs feel great during or after a long run.

sock1Chick Vic’s first PRO Compression socks.

We’ve been fans for a few months over here at Scoot Central. Chick Vic ordered some Marathon socks in March, after hearing friends rave about them. At first, she wore the socks only for recovery.

Vic wore the socks while doing yard work, after a long run. She also wore them to her cousin’s bridal shower last month, held hours after she ran a hilly half-marathon.

Earlier this month,  several Scoot chicks ran the Broad Street Run in Philadelphia. And when we heard that race organizers wanted participants to wear red socks, as a loving nod to our friends in Boston, we immediately ordered ours from PRO Compression.

The company offers three running styles – Marathon (our fave), PC Racer and Trainer Low – in a variety of colors. For folks who prefer calf sleeves, PRO Compression has those too!

Thanks to the generosity of PRO Compression, Scoot a Doot has two great items to share with our readers! We will be giving away one pair of sleeves and one pair compression socks (winner can choose what style he or she wants).

How do I enter, you ask? Click on the photos below to enter the giveaway of your choice. Or enter both! Note: winners can only win one prize. If the same person comes up twice, we’ll pick a second winner for the second giveaway. And we’ll advise you to play the lottery!

If you can’t wait to get your hands (and feet) on some PRO Compression gear, coupon code PCBLG will give you 40% off and free shipping on purchases of Marathon Socks and Sleeves. (Free shipping applies to US sales only.)

    • And we definitely love a happy Kyle!

More awesomeness is a perfectly acceptable answer. Ten points to Gryffindor!

  1. I have bright neon green ProCompression socks, and I LOVE THEM. I wore them after a half I ran a few weeks ago, and my legs weren’t sore at all the next day. And, like Vic, I hid them under dress pants once after a long run.

  2. I’m new to the compression sock world. Admittedly, I am frugal (or cheap as my husband says), so while I’ll gladly plunk down a chunk of change for my shoes, socks are another story. With that said, I did buy some of the C9 by Target compression socks and I’m in love. I’ve been running in them for a few months now and they have made all the difference. I believe my next trip to Haddonfield Running will involve a purchase of “real” compression socks…or maybe I’ll be the lucky winner here!

  3. I love ProCompression socks….they are the bees knees!! I actually need a bigger size because I didn’t really measure my calf when ordering and just guessed. Yes they are suppose to be tight, but mine are so tight I can hardly get them on. I wore them for the Chicago Marathon and I swear they are the main reason why I did well and I was not really sore after. Amazing!!!

    • I’ve only recently realized how awesome they are – they definitely helped during the 10 mile race a couple of weeks ago with running and recovery. Good luck! xo

  4. ProCompression socks are the best! It took me a while to fine socks that worked for me (which you wouldn’t think would be a hard thing to do) and they are the only socks a wear for running and recovery. I have pink and black marathon socks and I just got my yellow trainers yesterday! The pink and the new blue color are my favorite!

    • Isn’t it funny how something you’d think would be so simple is so… not? Obviously good shoes are important when running but I think good socks are pretty important too – especially with the longer distances. Best of luck!

  5. I just received my very first pair of PRO Compression Socks in the mail this week! I haven’t had a chance to try them out yet, but I’ve walked around the house in them and can already feel a difference. I’m looking forward to running in them today!

    • Hope you have a great run! My legs felt great during my 10 mile race a couple of weeks ago (that was the first long distance I used them for) and I wore them after too, which really helped my legs in feeling better sooner (two days as opposed to the three). Good luck to you!

    • Yes yes yes to the purple. I love that so many people are into my favorite color! My vote is for purple argyle next. You know, in case you were wondering!

  6. Have been interested in ProCompression’s products for a while, convinced my parents to try to run 2 half marathons this year (first for both of them) to earn runDisney Coast2Coast medals with the whole family so I am hoping they might be a help to them. I love the vibrant color of their purple and blue socks and hope to see more colors and patterns in the future! I’m crossing my fingers for polka dots!

    • I’m doing Coast2Coast this year as well – which ones are you and your parents running? I did Tink and I’ll be at Wine and Dine this fall. I think that the ProCompression socks would definitely help the fam, both during and after. 🙂

Polka dots WOULD be super, wouldn’t they? Best of luck, Danielle!

      • I am so excited to earn the Coast2Coast! My three sisters and I ran the Tinker Bell too (for 2 of them it was their first half) and then as a family we decided to all try to all get Coast2Coast at Wine and Dine. My parents will be doing their first at Disneyland Half and the rest of us will be running to support them. So in total we will have 8 running at both of those two runs. Craziness. Maybe we will run into each other, I know we will be taking up space!
I am a little worried about them and as they train I’m listening to their aches and want to find what will help them the most… or at least try! ProCompression sounds like a good idea for everyone actually!

Duuuuude, dying for some polka dots… would rock them all the time!

        • We’ve got a big ol’ group that will be at Wine and Dine too! Four out of the six of us are going to be down there from the blog and we know lots of other people who will be there too. We’ll party it up at the finish!!!

          • Yes! It’s going to be one serious party at the finish! So many people! I’ve not run a night race before and it’ll be one week after my fall marathon… this could be quite interesting!!

      • So it really is a Runners Night Out, complete with party finish!! This is going to be awesome! It will our first half at night also, are night halfs significantly different than morning halfs in terms of training or prep?

A full one week and a half the next?! Whew! You have my admiration! Good luck!

    • As I’ve told my family, I think that every day should be Mother’s Day… and as such, YOU SHOULD STILL GET THEM. 😉

    • YES PURPLE! And I’ve seen lots of polka dots and chevron love within the comments. I hear there are some new things coming for PRO Compression so maybe?!?

  7. I’ve never tried the sleeves but am curious to try them out because that would make it possible to run in Injinji socks but still have some compression going on on calves (I recently transitioned into minimalist running and the calves actually gets pretty tired sometimes) 🙂

    • It’s funny that you mention the Injinji socks because we’re actually doing a post on them today! I think the combo of the sleeves and socks would feel just right.

  8. Just getting into running, so I’m looking into useful items that can help me out. These sound nice.

    • Hi Ben! I can definitely vouch for these socks! I’m wearing some right now and plan to wear a pair for the Lilac10k tomorrow. The coupon code helps! Good luck!

    • Ah yes, the South. Sleeves give you a little breeze around the ankle, which you wouldn’t think would make much of a difference. BUT IT DOES.

      Good luck, Beth!

  9. I love my compression sleeves and i have been thinking that I need a bright and fun pair other than my poor boring black ones! I am entering the giveaway, but you know I am about to go take advantage of that discount!
My shins looooove that sweet compression. 🙂

    • Yesssss! Glad to hear that you’re going to order some socks and best of luck with the contest! I’m ordering my purple ones tonight. 🙂

  10. I have a pair of ProCompression SOCKS (and they are MIRACULOUS) but I have not tried the sleeves. I am anxious to try them and I really hope I win this so I can!! Thanks for the opportunity!

    • Best wishes in the giveaway! Your tweet on the sleeves still makes me smile, hours later. Maybe the Rafflecopter gods will award you creativity points? 🙂 and you’re welcome!

  11. Love Pro Compression! I have 2 pair of their socks and won’t run without them now! They helped me beat shin splints and tendonitis. Love love love!

  12. I need to plan my next race outfit, and I feel like purple needs to be in the mix. I love the pink sleeves I have, and wore them under pants the whole week before my last half. My legs felt amazing even through more than 7 hours in the car and 20 plus hours of meetings.

    • Ooooh, yes! An American flag design would be great – especially for all the Memorial Day and July 4th runs. 🙂 Good luck!

  13. I have never tried them but would love to! I signed up for my first half and would love to bounce back quickly. So I would like to see your next pair featured in my sock drawer!

  14. i would love lime green socks and for something new i would love to see shapes like moons, butterflies, stars or glittery socks!

    • Oh! Shapes! Haven’t heard that before – definitely could add something fun to their line. 🙂 Good luck, Alisa!

  15. Love these socks! Hope I win 🙂 Can’t wait to wear them for the San Diego Half Marathon in 2 weeks!

  16. Can’t wait to try pro compressions..I have been wearing other compression socks for years bc I’m on my feet all day as a nurse. I can tell a difference when I don’t wear them!!
