  1. Just finished a marathon this past weekend and was able to snag a PR even though I wasn’t feeling it in the days leading up to the run. I have my first Ultra scheduled this fall, the JFK 50. I’ve use compression with success and ProCompression is one of the brands.

  2. I love my ProCompression socks. I’m training for the Tower 10 Miler, Dopey, Tink and Princess and I wear my socks for running and my sleeves for recovery. Best. Socks. Ever!

  3. I love my compression socks! I wear them anything I have a hard leg workout and need some help recovering… and after my half marathons. I would love to have a pair set aside for while I’m running as well ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. I have a pair of purple Compression socks. I get compliments all the time! Currently training for Rock n Roll St. Louis half marathon on Oct 27

  5. I’m training for the Empire half marathon in Syracuse on 10/20. And wine and dine! I have only worn my pro compression socks once. But they helped.

  6. Currently “training” for the Cooper Norcross Run the Bridge 10K in Camden in November. Just keeping up my normal run schedule after the half to keep me in shape for that one. Should feel “nice” after the half! Ran in my first compression sleeves training for the half and LOVED them. Need some socks now and some color to boot! Would love to win a pair!

    • I love love love that 10K! I sadly can’t do it this year because its the same day as NYC… but I’ll be back! Good luck and I know you will rock it! And YES! You need color! There are lots of bright colors to choose from (and did you see the discount code?)

  7. This week, I’m recovering from the Rochester Half Marathon (where I wore my orange PROCompression socks). Next week I’ll start training for a to-be-determined marathon in February. I wear PROCompression socks for just about every run: trainer lows for short runs, marathon socks for long runs.

    • I love that it took me until mile 6 to notice you were even wearing your PRO compression socks. Yeah…. but am so glad they are working for you! Now we just need to find you a Marathon!

    • I have a habit of wearing them during but not after. Honestly though, I’m going to be in a very long car ride after Wine & Dine so I’m thinking they’ll be necessary for recovery. And lots of rest stops. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  8. I have worn Pro Compression sleeves before for recovery – but never during a race. I’m considering giving this a try soon, though! I’ll be starting to training for a Half Marathon in December shortly and they’d be great to have!

  9. I have never worn any, but I ran a marathon two weeks ago and I would’ve LOVED some! I’m not training for anything specific right now, but come February, I’ll start training for my second marathon! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Rock and Roll New Orleans in Feb but a little concerned right now because this past month I ran over a 100 miles in shoes that were too small & this week I’ve been having throbbing pain in the middle/bottom of my foot. Someone told me it’s probably an inflamed nerve to ice/roll it…. I’m supposed to do a training run tomorrow but don’t want to make it worse. Hopefully it’s nothing more serious. I got refitted in bigger running shoes a couple days ago…

        • I would definitely take tomorrow off if there’s pain and head then use those new shoe when you feel good enough to hit the road again! I loved RnR New Orleans- I ran the inaugural race! Super flat course but watch those potholes on esplanade!

          • I got an appointment in with a great doctor before the weekend and discovered I have a Mild Stress Fracture. My new kicks are temporarily replaced with a Boot on my right foot for the next 6-8 weeks. No more than 6 miles of running distance wise. Normally they tell you no running but she knows I want to stay active so they will re-xray me in two weeks to check the bone. What caused it? Various reasons: too tight of shoes, the fall I experienced last Sunday at mile 8 of 14 and pushing myself past the 10% rule. (Not to increase your distance more than 10% week to week) sigh.. At least it happened early in my training.

  10. I was training for Tough Mudder Kansas, but that was last Saturday. Now I’m still working on the Nebraska Spartan Sprint in 2 1/2 weeks. Beyond that I’m training for a 21 mile trail run put on by the G.O.A.T.z at the end of October.

    I haven’t tried ProCompression yet.

  11. I wear compression sleeves for running because I’m committed to my Injinji socks (haha) and compression socks for recovery ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Currently training for the St. Jude Half in Memphis in December. I’ve worn my ProCompression socks on some long runs in the winter months & definitely wear them for recovery. I rocked my Shamrock socks during a Half I ran on St. Patrick’s Day…got quite a few looks!

  13. I am getting my endurance up and then will run a 5K. Lame compared to all these runner posts! But it’s progress not perfection right?! I’ve never tried Pro Compression but hear great reviews, I would love to try! Thanks!

    • Hooray for your 5k! It’s definitely not a contest between each other here, just an effort to better yourself. And the 5k is a great distance – you’re doing so much more than so many people do. Keep up the great work!

  14. I’m currently training for life ๐Ÿ˜‰ Not signed up for any races as of now, but training to get back in shape after injury this spring and then a major dip in motivation. Getting ready to get out racing again very soon, miss it! I use ProCompression or Zensah socks/sleeves mostly for recovery. Love ’em!

  15. I’m currently training for the future ๐Ÿ˜‰ Not signed up for any races as of now, but training to get back in shape after injury this spring and then a major dip in motivation. Getting ready to get out racing again very soon, miss it! I use ProCompression or Zensah socks/sleeves mostly for recovery. Love ’em!

  16. Congrats on your PR! My fall is scheduled for a number of “firsts” – I’m training for my first ten miler, the Army Ten Miler, and my first half marathon – Richmond. I wear PROCompression socks mainly after long runs and they’re amazing – but I’m trying them out to wear during a long run to see if it has an effect. If it doesn’t, no matter – they’re still AMAZING for recovery!

  17. Currently training for the Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon! And yes, I love love LOVE my PROCompression socks. Actually slept in them last night because my legs hurt so bad. Woke up feeling refreshed and ready to run!

  18. Popeye told me the other day I just need to start telling people I’m training for life since I have a pretty full race calendar right now. Next up- Marine Corps Marathon where those chevron socks would look awesome ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • I like that phrase a lot! And yes, you are one busy bee. MCM is coming up soon! You’ll be great and YES, those socks would look smashing on you! How is training coming along?

    • Oh wow – just looked the Macau Marathon up since I was unfamiliar with it. China! That’s pretty awesome! Best of luck in your training and with the giveaway.

    • I’ve tried a couple of different kinds of compression socks but none are as tight as the PRO Compression ones! Haven’t tried sleeves yet – what do you think of them?

  19. I’ve never work PROcompression, but I’ve heard really great things about them! I ran a half marathon last weekend and have another in a month and I’m definitely going to be giving compression a try – I had wicked shin splints and I’m hoping it doesn’t happen again!

    • Shin splints are the worst! I haven’t had the issue since wearing the compression socks, maybe they’d work for you too! Which half are you running next month?

  20. My goal race is the 2014 Chevron Houston Marathon, which will be my first 26.2; no I have never compression, but I’m thinking it may help my ankles? willing to try, if I win ๐Ÿ™‚

  21. I’ve worn the Pro Compression socks for recovery, though I did wear them during my most recent 5k, and it was my best time! Currently training for my next 5k in December.

  22. I love PRO Compression! I just ordered a set of purple calf sleeves. ๐Ÿ™‚ I use them for recovery, I haven’t run in them yet. My long term training is for the Asheville Marathon in March, but I have a 12k in two weeks, and a half in a month. ๐Ÿ™‚

  23. I’m training for the WDW full marathon but have lots of races before then. Up next..Tower of Terror 10 miler this weekend! And I have a pair of Pro Compression socks that I LOVE putting on after a race. I’d love another pair!

(Side note: I liked the facebook pages from my running page, Once Upon a Run, not from my personal page which you have to use to log into rafflecopter)

    • I hope I will see you down in Florida this weekend as I’ll be running the Tower 10-miler too! And of course I packed my PRO Compression socks to go along with my costume! Good luck this weekend, and as your train for WDW Marathon! Have you run it before?

  24. Love my pro compression socks so much I bought the #runchat compression socks for my 24HR endurance race so I would have an extra pair AND so I could make sure everyone knew I was a #runbassador
